In the last decade, India went through a major technological revolution. Every sector experienced digitalization and benefited from it. One of such is the payment and finance sector.
In January, I got curious about the same and articulated a blog around it. But there was more to it than I could explain in one article.
During the same revolution, an Indian card network, RuPay, became so dominant in the Indian market that it even surpassed global giants like Visa and MasterCard! My curocity did not let me sleep and I ended up researching and writing another blog about it.

You can read the whole blog here.
This is my second attempt at trying something new. This is totally different from than usual blogs I normally write. I would love to hear your opinions and suggestions!
TL;DR
India has developed a system that allows the transaction of money in no time without any transactional fees. UPI has surpassed global giants like Mastercard, and Visa and has also outpaced traditional methods like E-wallets and net banking. It became so successful that Google recommended to US Federal Reserve Board to develop a UPI-like real time payment solution for the USA. In just five years, the system has revolutionized the way Indians use digital payment systems. UPI is available from any part of the country's government.
