As a developer, having a clean and organized workspace can make a huge difference in your productivity and overall enjoyment of your work. Visual Studio Code, or VS Code, is a popular code editor that offers a wide range of customization options, including themes that can change the appearance and layout of your workspace. In this blog, I'll be sharing my top 5 choices of themes for VS Code that I find to be the most useful and visually appealing.

How to install a Theme in VS CODE?

To install a theme in Visual Studio Code, follow these steps:

1.

Open VS Code and click on the "Extensions" icon in the sidebar, or press the "Ctrl + Shift + X" keys on your keyboard.

2.

In the Extensions tab, search for the theme you want to install using the search bar.

3.

Once you have found the theme you want to install, click on the "Install" button to download and install the theme.

4.

After the theme has been installed, click on the "Reload" button to apply the changes.

5.

To enable the theme, go to the "File" menu and select "Preferences" followed by "Color Theme".

6.

From the list of available color themes, select the theme you just installed and click "OK" to apply it to your workspace.

That's it! The theme should now be applied to your VS Code workspace. You can further customize the appearance of the theme by going to the "File" menu and selecting "Preferences" followed by "Settings" and adjusting the settings in the "Workplace" or "User" tabs.
