Today is May 24, 2023. Yesterday, I successfully completed shooting the videos for ShowwcaseXS. Today, I will edit the videos, compile them into one video, write the YouTube description, add a thumbnail, and finally publish the video to my YouTube channel. Let's get started!

I discovered a great feature in Loom today that allows you to trim and split videos directly in Loom. However, there is a restriction: you can only do this for videos up to 5 minutes long. If you want to use this feature for longer videos, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan. I don't want to do that, so here's what I did:

  1. I trimmed all the videos to the necessary parts in Loom.
  2. I downloaded all the videos.
  3. I compiled them into one video using iMovie on my Mac.
  4. I added transitions and increased the speed to 1.2x so that people don't get bored with my voice

After compiling the video, I wrote the description and published it on my YouTube channel three times, as I had exported the video in the wrong resolution, so the video quality was poor after publishing. But, I finally published a good-quality video after three attempts. Now, I need to add the video link to my Chrome extension and publish it as soon as possible and I will do it tomorrow.
