After several internships in data related companies, I’ve found my interest in business analytics. After interning in Nielsen Company, I got a rough idea as well as hands on experience on how data analysis can help a company discover customer insights thus make better decisions. This precious experience was followed by pursuing a master degree of Business Analytics in Brandeis University, get down to the bolts and nuts of being a good data analyst. For now, it’s safe to say that I am well prepared and have the skillset to excel as a data analyst.

Apart from the data analytics skills and internship experience I have, my internship experience as a product manager in D-Tise could come handy under this situation. During my last intern in D-Tise — a world leading company of Enterprise Customer Data Platform, I've involved in to the whole design process of four entirely different products. Deron Zhao, the founder & CEO of Dtise, also former head of Alibaba Big Data Center regarded me as having the sense and potential of even being a great product manager. This “bilingual talent” of not only able to know what customer want bust also knows how to make it happen working with the engineering department made it perfect for me to work in the customer-oriented and data-driven companies.
