Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join the OneCredit team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop predictive models, and deliver actionable insights that drive strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem formulation and data exploration to model development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Experiment with different statistical techniques to gain insights from a wide range of data sources.
• Write clean, organised code to automate number crunching and decision making systems
• Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
• Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses, measure the impact of interventions, and optimize business outcomes.
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations, presentations, and reports.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions to complex business problems.
• Proficiency in programming in Python
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques, with experience applying them to real-world problems.
• Experience with cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
