I'm a senior triple majoring in Cognitive Science, Psychology, and Public Health (with a Health Disparities certificate) and am in the 4+1 program for the Master of Business and Science in User Experience Design at Rutgers University.

My interest in human behavior helps me understand empathy from a digital perspective through the perspective of a user. While I enjoy creating a design that is aesthetically appealing, I care about its accuracy in research, user-friendliness, function, and purpose as well. Although design does not have to be geared in the technology direction, I recognize that soon enough, everything will be involving devices the way our information technology era is moving. I want to be part of that movement in a positive direction.

In summer 2020, I completed an internship at UNAR Labs as an Accessibility UX Researcher, where I created an interface for students with visual impairments studying for the SATs. I was also a recipient of the Rutgers University Dorothy and David Cooper Scholarship Summer 2020 Fellowship studying the high maternal mortality rate within Black women. My other past experiences have also been that I was a UX Research Assistant (for the Rutgers University Human Computer Interaction and Security Engineering Lab) and the Director of Academic Enrichment at Alpha Gamma Delta (Lambda Delta chapter).

At Rutgers University, I am President (former UX & Marketing Director) of the Rutgers University Cognitive Science Club. I am now a Conversational Experience Design Research Assistant (for the Rutgers University Human Computer Interaction Lab for Health and Sustainability) and a Psychology Research Assistant (for the Rutgers University Racism, Identity, Coping, and Health Lab) to complete my honors thesis.

I'm currently looking for a user experience or voice user interface design internship from December 2020 to May 2021 either in person (NJ/NYC area) or remotely.
