I have been fascinated by technology for as long as I can remember. I vividly remember getting my very first computer running Windows XP in 2004. I found myself wanting to customize my personal computing experience which then lead me to learn programming on the web during my youth. I quickly became engrossed in the world of technology, by developing simple programs and websites.

I became heavily interested in the mobile development scene as a teenager, kickstarted by getting my very first smartphone, the HTC Thunderbolt in 2011. I developed Android Custom ROMs day in and out and along the way, developed a strong understanding of the consumer technology industry as a whole. I wrote about my experiences and opinions about the tech industry as a whole for prominent technology YouTubers, as people began to notice my work online.

When it was time to go to college, my combined love for technology and problem solving made picking computer science as a major a “no brainer”. Currently, I am studying Computer Science at UC Irvine. Here at UC Irvine, there are more resources available to me than I ever could have imagined as a kid. I have studied new languages, algorithms, and higher mathematics with the same passion that has driven me since my youth.

During my time at UC Irvine, I have developed professionally in the forms of internships (most notably, at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. and Cerner Corporation), in academia (through research experience in big data and web development), and by teaching others (as an instructor for kids learning to code). I expect to graduate in March 2021, and cannot wait to develop software professionally full time.
